Training Report

I'm still pretty new at this whole ward mayor thing, so I learned a lot on this training trip~. I'll spare you the details or else we'd be here all day.
A lot of girls start getting suspicious when I'm gone for a while, so I buy souvenirs as proof. Big airports have trinkets from all over, so I can make plenty of excuses for where I've been~♪.
Don't think I'll run into any language barriers if I have a translation app... But I've heard that in a lot of countries certain gestures mean different things than they do in Japan. Guess I gotta watch out for that.
A reference photo... this okay? I'm not really used to taking landscapes. Selfies, on the other hand, I'm pretty good with~.
Surprisingly, it's pretty easy to get daily necessities locally. It's also kinda fun to look at what the overseas convenience stores have. Guess I don't need to feel like a fish out of water in a foreign place.
Thailand
It was hot, but I was still pretty comfortable just wearing a short-sleeved shirt. I got a shirt I liked from the night market with a funny design on it, so I wore it for the rest of the trip.
I saw some people playing sepak takraw in an empty lot and somehow ended up joining in. The ball was hard, so the sound it made when it got kicked was pretty satisfying.
I did a double take when I saw rice and mangoes being sold together. Can you really eat them together? Oh... But I guess if we're talking rice and sweets, that kinda sounds like ohagi in Japan.
France
Was the story that there's a code hidden in the Louvre's Mona Lisa something someone made up? But y'know, as they say, there's no smoke without fire~.
I'd heard there were still a lot of traboules around in the old town of Lyon, so I took a walk and checked them all out. Think it'd be fun to wander around and get lost in them together?
I thought people in France ate rice too, but turns out it was a small pasta called couscous. Seems it's a custom to eat it with wine.
Mexico
The cheese fondue called Queso Fundido was delicious. I had it with chorizo, but next time I'm thinking it'll taste even better if I add rice and make it into a risotto.
The view when I went parasailing in the Caribbean was the best~. I also saw a sea turtle peeking out a hole in a piece of driftwood, so I feel like something good's gonna happen. You should try it sometime, chief.
In the "City of Angels," Puebla, there's a pretty popular tourist spot called "The House of Sweets." Never thought I'd hear such a fancy name in Mexico~.
